Question: Would buying a diamond ring cost me cheaper in another country?

Ive heard Of people buying jewelery in other coubtries when they go to visit because its much cheaper. In the country where im from where alot of my family is from Honduras 1 dollar is worth 19 lempiras. Do you guys think its smart . I would spend the most 300$
