Its a gold ring with a 10K pink opal. On each side of the opal are two tiny stones, about the size of the pin tips. Are these diamonds? The ring altogether is $150.00.

It's possible, a lot of the value of the diamonds is because of the quality of the cut, so it could be just that they're not the best cut or clarity. One way to tell although because they're so small it'd be hard is that real diamonds never get condensation on them so if you breathe on it a fake diamond would have a layer of condensation on it and real one wouldn't
