Take it to a local jeweler. they have to like inspect it, weigh it, something. you can't tell through a picture. |

Regardless of anyone's experience with diamonds or whether or not they work with jewelery, no one is going to be able to give you an accurate estimate on here. jewelers have tools and things that they use to examine diamonds in a MUCH closer way than any picture or discription will provide. a lot of jewelery stores will appraise your item for free. go ask them so they can look at it with that magnifying glass jewelers have, so they can see what kind of inclusions and color it REALLY has. because there is a lot that your picture is not telling us |

The best thing you can do is to take it to a jeweler and have it appraised. |

It really depends upon the QUALITY of the diamond and not just the size. The only way to establish this accurately is to take the ring to a local jewellers or have it independently appraised. Only once the precise size and quality is known can a value be assigned to it. |

It is very hard to know what is worth based on the characteristics you have supplied. You will need to provide us with more information such as cut, clarity and color. The best way to find out the work is to take this ring to an independent appraiser. It will cost you a bit of money – perhaps $150 to $200.00 but you will have an accurate idea of the worth and you can then insure your ring accordingly. Good Luck! |
